If you feel like having another go at enabling the remote panel in service mode, you can try this sequence:
Enter Service Mode
- Utility > Counter > Display Keypad
- Stop > 0 > 0 > Stop > 0 > 1
- The service mode menu will open, but to get to the advanced options, you need to enter another sequence: Stop > 0 > Clear
- Now some extra options appear on the right. Touch CE Authentication and set to On.
- Now you might need to hit CE Password and enter the CE password with is 9272 four times. I.e. "9272927292729272"
- Then I think you can just END and reboot the printer.
Now if you log into the Administrator settings of the printer, under Network, you should hopefully see Remote Panel. Here, you’ll want to enable the Server option.
Once that it done you can open the Remote Panel from Resource Manager:
If you click Remote Panel, it will open the URL in the default browser. If that is IE, just copy the URL and paste into Chrome.
